In addition to acting, you can often find Sawyer Music Directing. He has music directed dozens of shows at iconic locations like 54 Below and The Green Room 42. He was nominated for the Best Musical Direction Award in the 2025 season at 54 Below. Some of his favorite musical directorial credits include (but are not limited to) The Pirates of Penzance, Little Mermaid, First Date, Gypsy, and The Drowsy Chaperone.
